It does have its perks being a member though. I assure u its just a secretive organization that has benfits for its members. Kanye is referring to his girlfriend who is a member of delta sigma theta “My girl is a delta so she been throwing that dynasty sign” You probably recognize this form kanyes song through the wire Who are real popular in the black American community. The dynasty sign is also the symbol for one of the black sororities called delta sigma theta. That dynansty sign means many things to many people.

If jay-z was a free mason(which i seriously doubt) he would be a prince hall freemasion which is mostly black Americans. Even though im not a prince hall masion I know what a lot of that stuff means. Therefore we share a lot of the symbolism freemasons. All the black fraternities (including my own) are based off prince hall freemasons(all the founders were freemasons). Freemasons are more secretive and religious where fraternities are more social and community based. Kinda like a fraternity but VERY different in many ways. Freemason's are just a society of people with a deep history and connections.
